Branigan Unbridled is about equine connections and the possibilities that emerge when people make space to connect with horses. The wisdom from the herd leads to freedom for healing, connection, and self-discovery. Our program Unbridled Equine Connection is designed with the power of herd dynamics.
The program I offer connects people with horses to bridge deeper understandings and connections within ourselves and our families. I share detailed accounts of the power of the equine and human psychology from the arena, why I chose this field, and how it has impacted me personally in the Blog.
About the Founder

Welcome to Branigan Unbridled, or BU. My name is Branigan. I’m a cowgirl. A reader. A writer. I love animals. I’m a proud southern girl who still says “yes ma’am” and “yes, sir”, and I love a good Oklahoma sunset.
These are the short responses. In reality, BU was a dream, a childlike one, that seemed to be far out of reach. Horses were my passion, and I knew I would someday have a career focused around them. A trainer, a riding coach, or even a vet. Instead, I took a few psychology courses, fell in love with the brain and behavioral connections between horses and humans, and I realized my passion was much different than I envisioned.
My background in academia is extensive: I have studied Equine Science, Human Behavior, and Social Work: Human / Animal Connections. I have several certifications in Native American Behavioral Health, SPUR Model Social Intelligence, and PATH Therapeutic Horseback Riding and various trainings in counseling practices of mental health.
I want to help people understand human behavior by looking at natural instincts, and why we act the way we do in animals. Horses allow us to become part of their herds the moment we are within ten feet of them. This powerful connection goes far beyond comprehension, and connections are made so that we can understand ourselves so much deeper.
My program is not completely unique, but I have taken bits of many programs to build it, so it is special. Working in this field requires extensive equine behavior knowledge, a heavy background in human behavior and techniques with different therapeutic tools. Many can try to create this, but not everyone will have the knowledge in safety, equine behavior or human social intelligence all in one clinician.
